マッチ後輩５人組と期間限定ユニット
４３歳の近藤真彦が、ジャニーズＪｒ．の平均年齢２２・２歳の５人組ロックバンドＱｕｅｓｔｉｏｎ？（クエスション）とユニット「ＭＡＴＣＨＹ ｗｉｔｈ ＱＵＥＳＴＩＯＮ？」を結成、シングル「目覚めろ！野性」を来年１月２３日に発表する。近藤が「ユニットを組むのは最初で最後。来年２月の日本 武道館公演で解散です」という期間限定のプロジェクトだ。
近藤が「純粋にサウンドにひかれ、才能も感じた」という同バンドは０４年結成。ＣＤデビューはしていないが、オリジナル曲も多く、単独公演経験も 豊富。大先輩からの突然のオファーにメンバー全員「びっくりして実感もなかった」という。近藤は「僕にとって新しいチャンスですが彼らにとっても大きく飛 躍するきっかけになってくれれば」と期待している。同曲はテレビ東京系アニメ「ＮＡＲＵＴＯ－ナルト－ 疾風伝」（木曜午後７時３０分）の主題歌に決定し た。
